Privacy in Sixfold Arena
This policy describes the current Sixfold Arena Android beta and this support website. Contact chunkyslug66@gmail.com with privacy questions.
Information used by the game
- Account identifiers: the game creates a Firebase guest account with a unique user ID. If you choose to link Google Play Games, Google/Firebase associate that sign-in identity with your captain so you can recover progress.
- Gameplay data: account level, currency balances, owned characters, upgrades, crew and saved team selections, campaign progress, active battles, rewards and transaction records are stored on the game server and in Google Cloud Firestore.
- Connection and security data: requests include an authentication token, operation identifiers and game actions. Network services process connection data such as IP addresses to route requests and prevent abuse. The game uses request limits and transaction records to protect accounts and prevent duplicate rewards or spending.
- Support messages: when you email support, we receive your email address, the message and any account details or screenshots you choose to provide. Send only information relevant to the request.
Why information is used
We use this information to authenticate players, save and restore progress, process game actions, keep balances consistent across devices, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse and respond to support or deletion requests.
Services involved
Google Play Games and Firebase Authentication handle sign-in; Cloud Firestore stores account and game records. The beta game server currently runs on a developer-managed computer, reached through ngrok. These providers process data necessary to deliver their services. Support email is handled through Gmail. This support website is hosted using ChatGPT Sites.
Google services are covered by Google’s privacy policy. ngrok describes its processing in its privacy policy. Website hosting may process ordinary request and security logs; this site adds no advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies.
Device storage
The Android app keeps authentication state and a local display cache. An original prototype save may remain as a local backup. Server records control connected progression. Clearing device data or uninstalling does not delete your server account, and may make an unlinked guest account inaccessible.
Advertising, purchases and sharing
The current beta has no advertising or real-money purchases. We do not sell player data. Data is processed by the service providers described above to operate and secure the game, and may be disclosed when required by law.
Retention and deletion
Account and gameplay records are retained to maintain your saved captain until a verified account-deletion request is completed. Beta balance and progression resets do not by themselves delete your authentication identity. Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request and related follow-up. Service providers may retain their own operational records under their policies.
You can request deletion of your Sixfold Arena account and associated data using the account-deletion page or the Request account deletion link in Journal → Account & cloud. Deletion removes the game’s authentication account, stored captain and associated gameplay/transaction records after ownership is verified. It does not delete your Google account or your Google Play Games profile. If a legal obligation prevents removal of a particular record, we will explain that exception in our response.
Your choices and questions
Google Play Games linking is optional; an unlinked guest account can play while the server is available. You may contact support about access to, correction of or deletion of your account data. Ownership verification may be required to protect someone else’s captain. We do not ask for your Google password or access tokens.
Policy changes
We will update this page when the game’s data practices change, including before enabling new payment, advertising or multiplayer features that affect this policy. The date below identifies the current version.
